Aida joined Gelbergs in March 2016. She has been practising employment law since 2011 and qualified as a solicitor in 2014.
Prior to joining Gelbergs, Aida worked in a Law Centre where she established and led the employment team. Aida has broad experience encompassing all aspects of employment law and employment tribunal litigation, from drafting contracts, grievance/disciplinary procedures, and other non-contentious advisory work through to claims at the employment tribunal, including unfair dismissal, redundancy, discrimination, TUPE and whistleblowing.
Aida has worked in the private and not for profit sectors and has advised both employers and employees. She has regularly appeared at preliminary and final hearings across the London circuit and surrounding areas. Aida has a genuine enthusiasm and passion for employment law, with a particular interest in pregnancy/maternity discrimination and whistleblowing.
Aida is also a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and can speak fluent Bosnian and Serbo-Croatian.
